Comedy Night
FeaturedFestival Marquee Hawkcraig Road, Aberdour, Fife, UKThe Aberdour Festival in association with Mirth of Forth productions are delighted once again to present an evening of comedy with award-winning comedian, writer and actor Ray Bradshaw supported by David Eagle and compered by Susan Morrison.
Ray Bradshaw is an international, multi award-winning stand-up comedian who has sold out shows globally. Ray was handpicked to support John Bishop on his recent UK arena tour and has previously supported Frankie Boyle on his last two tours.
His own previous three tour shows have been performed in both English and British Sign Language; the first, Deaf Comedy Fam, was a huge success and won awards both in the UK and Australia, leading Ray to become the first comedian ever to win a Scottish Culture Show Award.
His most recent show Deaf Com One did a 60-date tour in the Uk, Australia and New Zealand and resulted in nearly 800 deaf audience members coming to their first ever stand-up show.
Ray is also a regular host of the hit Radio Scotland show Off the Ball.
David is a member of three-time BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winning band The Young’uns. In 2018 he branched out into stand up and is now a Radio 4 regular, with his own stand-up series ‘See No Eagle’ and multiple appearances on The Now Show. In 2024 he made his TV debut, performing stand up on Dave’s “Rosie Jones’s Disability Comedy Extravaganza”. His stand up explores how being blind often transforms everyday life into surreal, surprising comic adventures. One of his accordion-driven songs was described in The Guardian as "a comic tour de force." He has won numerous awards including The Spirit Of The Fringe Award at 2024’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival and his debut solo show, The Eagle Is Candid, won Best Variety Show at Leicester Comedy Festival and was nominated for Best Show at Edinburgh Fringe. In 2019 he was crowned New Comedian Of The Year by Leicester Square Theatre, and at both Bath and Nottingham Comedy Festivals.
The evening will be compered by award-winning Scottish comedian Susan Morrison. Susan has been an MC at The Stand Comedy club since the day it opened, and she has taken to the stage in clubs from Bournemouth to Berlin. She is a writer, broadcaster and comedian with two grown-up children and a very patient husband. She's rubbish at organising, has a complete lack of self-discipline, is utterly terrible at most things house-work related, but she does like ironing. Denies she is obsessed with the sinking of the RMS Titanic, but she is!

Skipinnish
FeaturedFestival Marquee Hawkcraig Road, Aberdour, Fife, UKAfter an epic debut at the Aberdour Festival in 2023, Skipinnish cannot wait to return this year! They will be supported by Cloud House.
Since Skipinnish hit the Scottish music scene in 1999, their rise has been an inspiring tale of a tiny acorn becoming a mighty oak! From pub gigs and ceilidhs in the beginning, their mix of anthemic songs and powering melody has seen them fill the biggest and best venues in the country. In 2024 they celebrated their 25th birthday with a televised concert at Edinburgh Castle, playing to over 8000 fans and in September 2025 they headlined Scotland’s biggest arena with a show at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow.
In 2024 the band won “Event of the Year” at the Scottish Trad Music Awards for their Edinburgh Castle concert and in 2025 they received the prestigious Sound of Scotland Award at the Nordoff and Robin Scottish Music Awards.
Skipinnish has constantly evolved and grown over the years and 2026 will see some exciting additions and changes as they continue to give audiences the euphoric joy that their music brings to a wonderful and ever-growing fanbase.
Skipinnish are buzzing to bring Walking on the Waves, The Island, Alive, Last of the Hunters, The Hag and all other Skipinnish favourites and some exciting new songs and tunes to the Festival and many other concerts across the country in 2026 and beyond!
Cloud House continue to grow their reputation as an exciting, festival-ready indie rock band. The Glasgow five-piece have earned comparisons to Sam Fender and The 1975 with their catchy, heartbreakingly honest songs, laden with guitar hooks and saxophone melodies. Described as "rising, rousing indie rock" by The Clash Magazine, they have been selected as BBC Scotland’s Track of the Week a record three times. 2025 saw the band play memorable sets at Heartland Festival, The Sound of Iona Music Festival, and their first Tenement Trail, before capping the year off with a headline show at Glasgow's Drygate Brewery.
