Featured Events

Scotland's friendliest festival

Set in the beautiful seaside village of Aberdour, the festival has been bringing people together for over forty years. It's the kind of festival where you can catch a live performance in the morning, join a family activity in the afternoon, and end the day with music under the stars. Ten days. The whole village. Every kind of fun.

What's on across the festival

The festival packs ten days with the very best of music, comedy, sport, arts, literature and family entertainment. Here's a taste of what to expect.

Live music & gigs

From intimate acoustic sets to big outdoor performances, live music runs right through the festival. Local talent, national names and everything in between.

Comedy nights

Award-winning comedians and rising stars take to the stage for nights that regularly sell out fast. Book early.

Beach Day

Aberdour's Blue Flag beach comes alive with activities, entertainment and community spirit. One of the festival's most-loved days, and free for all the family.

Donkey Brae Races

A beloved festival tradition. Cheer on the brave (or baffling) competitors as they race up and down Donkey Brae. Ridiculous fun for spectators of all ages.

Family & children's events

Workshops, shows, storytelling and outdoor adventures designed for younger festival-goers. The whole family is welcome at Aberdour Festival.

Arts & literature

Exhibitions, author talks, poetry, visual arts and craft: the festival celebrates creativity in all its forms. Something to read, something to see, something to take home.

See it for yourself

The Way our Ticket sales work

In response to community feedback we're trialling running online ticket sales.

Please note: selecting or adding tickets to your basket does not reserve them. Because many of our events have limited capacity, seats remain available to other customers until payment is completed. Your booking is only reserved once you've paid.

Some events also have tickets for sale from the Box Office or Aberdour Bistro. We reserve the right to cancel and refund tickets if this is necessary.

Please remember that the festival is ran by volunteers. Feedback is welcomed at [email protected].
