Comedy Night
July 30 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm

The Aberdour Festival in association with Mirth of Forth Productions are delighted to present multi award winning Scottish comic Susie McCabe with support from Liam Farrelly Scottish Comedian of the Year at this year’s Comedy Night.
Susie has been seen on Frankie Boyle’s ‘New World Order’, ‘Have I Got News For You’ and heard on BBC Radio 4’s ‘News Quiz’ and BBC Scotland’s ‘Breaking the News’. One of Scotland’s most sought after comics. Tour support for Kevin Bridges, Jason Manford and John Bishop. A naturally funny storyteller and a genuine stand up.
“Highly recommended” Kevin Bridges
“This woman should be considered a National Treasure”
Liam is a 23-year-old up-and-coming Scottish comedian from Paisley, who started performing stand-up aged 17 whilst still in High School and who immediately went into comedy full-time after graduating.
A meteoric rise through the ranks has seen him nominated for and winning a raft of awards. He’s also starred in the latest season of ‘Live at the Apollo’, have a guest acting role on BBC Scotland’s Scot Squad (S4E2) and perform at the UK’s best and most prestigious comedy clubs, including Scotland’s The Stand, Monkey Barrel, Liverpool’s Hot Water Comedy Club and both the London and Manchester Comedy Stores—all barely a year after first setting foot on a stage.
The evening will be compered by acclaimed stand-up comic and TV writer Meryl O’Rourke. Meryl has delighted comedy audiences, written some of the best gags on telly and even hosted pop concerts (last one to 12,000 people!). She is regular MC for a whole host of prestige venues such as Comedy Box, Backyard, SBM, Headliners, Avalon and others. Her hit solo show Vanilla is streaming on NextUpComedy.Com.
