Aberdour Tennis Club welcome primary school age children along to the courts to take part in a fun tennis tournament during the Ice Cream Factory – a great way burn off the sugar!
Register on the day and we will plan the format based on numbers. Entry is free and you do not need to be a member of the club. Equipment provided if necessary.Age Group: Primary school

Easter vs Wester Bowls
Aberdour Bowling Club Scotland, United KingdomCome along and play in, or watch the 2nd annual Easter vs Wester bowls match. Current Champions Wester are hoping to retain their trophy in this Ryder Cup style event with several rounds of pairs matches. Each pair will be a member playing with a non-member. For non-members, bowls and all equipment will be provided - just wear a pair of flat soled shoes. The bar and BBQ will be open until late.
The green will be available from 5pm – 6pm with members on hand to give some instruction for rookie players to get the hang of the basics! No experience needed.
Eligibility: priority will go to Aberdour residents, but bowlers and non-bowlers from afar are welcome to come and join in.

Village football match
Hawkcraig Road Football Pitch Hawkcraig Road Football Pitch, Aberdour, Fife, UKEaster are looking to do the double again this year with the annual Easter vs Wester village football matches.
First face off: The Ladies’ match (ages 14+) kicks things off. They will play two thirty-minute halves, battling it out for the prestigious McLean Forth Trophy.
Next up: The Men’s match (ages 17+) where local bragging rights and the Charlie Nelson Trophy, are up for grabs.
The Levein Trophies will be presented to the stand-out players from both games.
All are encouraged to come along and watch this great afternoon of sporting entertainment.

Each team must comprise of 3 players, at least one of which must be a member of Aberdour Golf Club. Gents & Juniors off white tees, Ladies off red tees.
Best two nett strokeplay scores at each hole count.
Full Course Handicap allowance.
All player names and handicaps MUST be noted on the card.

All invited to Aberdour Tennis Club for an evening of fun in fancy dress. Members and non-members welcome to play or watch doubles tournaments with tiers for all abilities and a one point singles slam!
Equipment can be borrowed if needed and there will be nibbles and baking, but bring your own tipple!

Kids Golf Taster Sessions

Kids will get the chance to try putting, chipping and hitting full shots in the practice nets, all under the guidance of friendly, experienced golfers.

Village Cricket
Tickets: FREE. Just turn up, the more the merrier!
15:30 – 17:00 – Taster session and mini-match for primary school kids. Join us for a fun, no-pressure introduction to batting, bowling and fielding then test your newly learned skills in a game.
17:00 – 18:30 – Under 18s Easter v Wester Youth Match. Our local under 18 boys and girls go head to head in a friendly but competitive Easter vs Wester showdown!
18:00 – 22:00 – The traditional 20:20 returns with Wester looking to retain their crown. Played with a soft ball and a few fun twists to the rules, this match is open to all adults regardless of level of experience. We are hoping for more female participants this year. Equipment provided. If you don’t want to play, come along and cheer your side of the village on!
A BBQ and the Markee Bar and Tuck Shop will be open for participants and spectators alike
Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Consent forms are required for children aged over 8 if being left unsupervised. ALL children staying after 18:30 are required to be accompanied by an adult.

Shinty Taster Sessions
Silver Sands Playing Fields Silver Sands Playing Fields, Aberdour, Fife, UKAberdour Shinty Club will be hosting their popular taster sessions for kids again this year. Come along and try out Scotland’s National Game - a fun, fast, skilful sport with roots dating back thousands of years. Please wear sports clothing and trainers (or football boots/shin pads if you have them). The club will supply everything else you need. Don’t forget your water bottle!
