The Aberdour Festival 2023 Beach Day will hopefully be our biggest and best ever at Blacksands beach. There will be all of the old favourites as well as some new events and stalls …….let’s hope for some sunshine!!

Throughout the day there will be Tom Court’s burgers and sausages from the trusty Abfest BBQ! To go with this will be the Beach Bar which has always been a great hit! Food will be available from late morning including tea and coffee and baking at the boat club. The bar will open at midday and closing time will be at 4.00pm. This earlier closing time will allow our very own Roy Devon to close up shop and race back to the Festival Marquee to set up for our big night at the marquee!

Please come down to Beach Day prepared for the weather, maybe an occasional rain shower….. and even more prepared for the sun with sunscreen, beachtowels, energy and enthusiasm to make the most of our wonderful beach and the sea! There’ll be plenty of events to keep you entertained such as the sandcastle competition, beach volleyball, the legendary raft race as well as events with the boat club. We hope the inshore lifeboat from Kinghorn will join us (lifesaving commitments allowing….) and we really would like you to stay for the day; there will be lots of other stalls so come and celebrate our proximity and life next to the sea.
