Aberdour SOUP: The Big Community Pitch

What happens when you combine a bowl of soup with a £6,000 community fund? You get Aberdour SOUP: The Big Community Pitch!

As part of the Aberdour Community Action Plan, local groups, clubs and individuals are invited to pitch their best “Quick Win” ideas – projects that can make a positive difference in our village.

Inspired by a community-led micro-funding model used in Dundee and communities around the world, Aberdour SOUP puts funding decisions in the hands of local people. During the event, you will hear a series of short project pitches while enjoying a free bowl of soup provided by The Aberdour Bistro. Entry is free, but tickets must be booked in advance.

Every attendee gets a vote, and the £6,000 funding pot will be shared between the winning projects! Come along for good food, great ideas and a chance to help shape the future of Aberdour. Together, we can turn community ideas into community action.
