This year’s Aberdour Festival is celebrating 900 years of Aberdour history, but you don’t need to be “Middle Aged” to take part in this fun event – as long as you are over 18 you can participate! An early evening expedition around Aberdour, to test how far the good people of Fife (and beyond!) have developed over 900 years!
In accepting this challenge you will be tested in:
- Riddles and puzzles
- Pop/music knowledge
- Physical dexterity
- Creativity!
There will be stops along the way, where you might be able to purchase an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink, should you wish, and some food will be available should you make it to the end!
Intrigued?
Puzzles and pints, drama and drams, giggles and gin, banter and booze. This Team Challenge kicks off at the Festival Marquee at 6.30pm sharp. Please arrive in good time or you will miss the first activity. The stops will range across the village. You might even get some sand in your toes.
This event includes walking, including steep steps and some uneven ground. It is open to all ages over 18 but is not suitable for those with limited mobility. Each team will need to bring at least one mobile phone with a camera.
Please look out for your safety and that of other team members. If you drink alcohol, please do so responsibly. The organisers accept no liability for accidents or injury while undertaking this event.
You should aim to get back to the Festival Marquee by 10.00pm. While results are being collated you can enjoy the sweet sounds of Cherry Crumble (music has come a long way since the 13th century!) and the Festival Bar, both available until 12midnight.
