Auriga Astronomy (the first and only UK planetarium to be accepted into NASA’s museum programme) has been delivering planetarium shows around the UK since 2002 and in that time over 250,000 people have visited and enjoyed their shows. Mobile planetariums are also known as star domes. The environment created by the dome is as dark as a cinema and immerses the visitor into a wonderful experience of the universe bringing awe and wonder to stimulate young and old minds alike. We are offering 3 wonderful shows catering for different ages and interests:- Max Goes to the Moon – based upon the story by Jeffrey Bennett, Max, the dog and a young girl named Tori take the first trip to the moon since the Apollo era. (Age 4 – 12) The Apollo Story – from Sputnik to Apollo and a look at Artemis (the new moon landings). (Age 8 – 80) We are Stars – how the universe including humans are made from the material from exploding stars. (Age 8 – 80)
